SD83’s Strategic Plan was developed through extensive consultation with Rightsholders, parents, staff, stakeholders, and students. The commitment, genuine interest, and enthusiasm shown throughout this process reflect our dedication to the education and well-being of all students. This Strategic Plan will guide the District’s priorities, goals, initiatives, and financial stewardship over the next five years (2023-2028).

To support the implementation of SD83’s 2023–2028 Strategic Plan, the District publishes Strategic Focus – Connecting Our Priorities, a companion resource that highlights the meaningful work taking place across our schools and communities. This publication showcases how district initiatives, classroom learning, partnerships, and system improvements are actively supporting the Strategic Plan’s priority areas—Intellectual Development, Human and Social Development, Career Development, Organizational Development, Community Partnership Development, and Effective Governance and Leadership.
